Within the past 25 years, climate change has evolved from an issue of interest primarily to some natural scientists into one of the top priorities on the global policy agenda. —Thomas Bernauer, Annual Review of Political Science, 2013Click to Tweet
This collection includes 23 review articles on the politics and policy of climate change, the impact climate change is currently having on global populations, and the impact on aquatic ecosystems, from mangrove forests to permafrost and ice. While transformative changes are needed to safeguard our future, we can also learn from past scholarship on this topic. Four decades ago, Influences of Mankind on Climate by pioneering meteorological and atmospheric scientist William Kellogg (1917-2007) was published in the Annual Review of Earth and Planetary Sciences.
