1932

Abstract

I present some personal views on the field of condensed matter physics (CMP), primarily as a long-time practitioner, but also as a physicist who has had the opportunity to play broader roles in scientific affairs. I comment on how CMP has evolved in the past half century, and express my optimism for its future.
