Abstract

Minoru Ozima describes important influences in his scientific life, from the trauma of World War II during adolescence to studying with such giants of Earth science as J. Tuzo Wilson. He benefited from international collaborations in helping to establish noble gas geochemistry as an important discipline that reveals much about the origin and evolution of our planet Earth.
